Orusta Community Guidelines

Last updated: 22 August 2026 Version: 3

Orusta, operated by Challenge Arena Software FZCO, brings together a global sports community around self-improvement, fair play and healthy competition. So that everyone can enjoy it, we apply a zero tolerance policy towards harmful behaviour. These guidelines form an integral part of our Terms of Service.

Our principles

  1. Mutual respect: every member deserves to be treated with dignity.
  2. Fair play: talent and hard work are the only currency that counts.
  3. Safety: no content and no behaviour should put anyone in danger, online or in real life.
  4. Transparency: moderation is human, fair and responsive.

Strictly prohibited content

The following content results in immediate removal and, depending on its seriousness, a temporary or permanent ban:

Sporting integrity, ranked mode and anti-cheat

Orusta rests on trust in the reality of performances. Any attempt to falsify a performance, a leaderboard position or a battle is a serious breach. The following are prohibited:

Ranked mode. Access to ranked is a privilege. Where cheating is established or strongly suspected, we may cancel the scores and ranks obtained improperly, exclude the account from ranked (temporarily or permanently), and, depending on the seriousness, ban the account from all of the Services. Signals are detected automatically, but any significant sanction is decided by our team, never by an algorithm alone.

Behaviour during live battles

A battle broadcasts your camera and your microphone in real time to your opponent and, where applicable, to spectators. The same rules apply live as everywhere else:

Any breach during a live battle may result in immediate exclusion from the battle and a sanction on the account.

Clubs and messaging

Clubs and messaging are spaces for exchange, not lawless zones. The rules above apply to your private messages, your club discussions and any content you share there.

Sports meet-ups: your safety first

The meet-up feature allows you to organise sports sessions with other members. A meet-up takes place in real life, with people we do not vet. A few common sense rules, never to be overlooked:

Orusta does not verify the identity of its members and neither organises nor supervises meet-ups: they take place between you, outside the app. You take part at your sole responsibility, within the limits set out in our Terms of Service (health warning and liability).

Votes and leaderboards: no manipulation

Votes on challenges and leaderboards must reflect genuine merit. Buying, trading or organised soliciting of votes, the use of multiple accounts to vote, and any coordinated action aimed at artificially inflating or lowering a score are prohibited.

This applies with particular severity to prize-bearing challenges: cheating in one, or attempting to enter with several accounts, results in immediate disqualification, in addition to the sanctions set out below. The full terms are in the Contest Rules.

Moderation and sanctions

Sanctions incurred, according to seriousness and repeat offending. This table gives the maximum, not an automatic outcome: the sanction actually applied is proportionate to the facts, as provided for in the Terms of Service.

OffenceSanction incurred
Isolated offensive languageWarning and removal of the message
Repeated harassmentUp to temporary suspension, and a ban in the event of repeat offending
Hate speechUp to a permanent ban
Cheating (challenge, ranked or battle)Cancellation of winnings unduly obtained, and up to exclusion from ranked mode or a permanent ban
Cheating in a prize-bearing challengeDisqualification from the challenge, plus the sanctions above according to seriousness
Illegal contentPermanent ban and report to the authorities

Suspension durations are deliberately not quantified: they are adapted to the seriousness and to any repeat offending. Publishing a fixed scale would tie our hands without bringing anything to the community.
