Orusta Contest Rules
Last updated: August 19, 2026
These rules govern every prize-bearing challenge offered in the Orusta app, whether it carries the "Sponsored" or the "Event" badge (the "Contest"). Taking part means fully accepting these rules.
1. Organiser
Challenge Arena Software FZCO Licence No. 80218, IFZA Free Zone IFZA Business Park, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Contact: legal@orusta.com
The Organiser is solely responsible for running Contests, designating winners and delivering prizes.
2. Nature of the Contest: a skill-based competition
An Orusta Contest is a skill-based sporting competition. The winner is determined solely by measured performance: repetition count, elapsed time or cumulative score, according to the mode announced on the challenge page.
No draw and no element of chance play any part in designating the winner.
3. Free entry
Entry is entirely free and requires no purchase.
- No purchase, no subscription and no spending of virtual currency (coins, carats, tickets) is required to enter a Contest or to be ranked in it.
- The optional purchases offered in the app (Orusta VIP subscription, carats, cosmetic items) confer no advantage on the sporting result. They do not affect repetition counting, ranking, or the chances of winning.
- The only possible cost is the participant's internet connection, billed by their own carrier under their own contract.
4. Eligibility
To take part, a participant must:
- be at least 16 years old on the date of entry;
- hold a valid Orusta account, created in accordance with the Terms of Service, neither suspended nor pending deletion;
- if a minor, have obtained the prior authorisation of a holder of parental responsibility. That authorisation may be requested before the prize is delivered.
Directors and employees of the Organiser, those of the partner providing the prize, and members of their households are excluded.
One entry per natural person is allowed. Creating multiple accounts results in disqualification.
5. How to enter
- The Contest is announced in the app. A pre-registration phase may precede the opening of submissions.
- Once open, the participant performs the required exercise and submits their video from the app, within the time window shown on the challenge page.
- Performance is measured automatically, then verified. Any submission may be manually reviewed by the moderation team.
- The opening and closing dates displayed in the app are authoritative.
6. Determining the winner
The winner is the participant with the best validated performance at the close of the Contest.
In the event of a tie, the earliest recorded submission prevails.
The ranking displayed while a Contest is running is provisional until submissions have been finally verified. The final result is notified to the winner in the app and by email.
7. Disqualification
A participant is disqualified, without notice or compensation, where they:
- resort to cheating, third-party software, or a pre-recorded, reused or manipulated video;
- submit content from which actual completion of the exercise cannot be verified;
- post content breaching the Community Guidelines;
- have created multiple accounts or used someone else's account;
- provide false or incomplete identity information when the prize is delivered.
8. The prize
The nature of the prize, its description and its estimated retail value are shown on the Contest page before any entry.
- The prize is personal, non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
- It cannot be exchanged for cash, nor substituted at the winner's request.
- The Organiser may substitute a prize of equivalent nature and value where circumstances beyond its control require it.
- One prize is awarded per Contest, unless stated otherwise on the Contest page.
9. Prize delivery
The Organiser contacts the winner within 30 days of the close of the Contest, at the email address linked to their Orusta account.
The winner then has 30 days from that contact to confirm acceptance and provide the information needed for delivery. After that period, or where the details provided are unusable, the prize is treated as unclaimed: it may be awarded to the next-ranked participant, or not awarded at all.
Delivery costs are borne by the Organiser or the partner. Any taxes, customs duties and declaration obligations arising from receipt of the prize are the winner's responsibility, under the rules of their country of residence.
10. No association with Apple or Google
Contests are run exclusively by the Organiser.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not organisers, sponsors or promoters of these Contests and are in no way associated with them. They incur no liability in connection with a Contest. Any question or complaint must be addressed to the Organiser.
11. Personal data
The data processed for a Contest are the account identifier, email address, performance, submitted video and, for the winner only, delivery details. They are processed by the Organiser to run the Contest and deliver the prize.
The legal basis for processing is performance of these rules. Delivery details are kept for as long as needed to deliver the prize, then for the applicable statutory period. They may be passed to the partner providing the prize and to the carrier, for delivery purposes only.
Full details of processing, retention periods and how to exercise your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy. Requests may be sent to privacy@orusta.com.
12. Content and image rights
Participants retain ownership of their video. In accordance with the Terms of Service, they grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display their submission in the app.
Publication of the winner's username and video, for the purpose of announcing the result in the app and on Orusta's official channels, forms an integral part of the Contest. Any advertising use going beyond that announcement is subject to a separate written agreement with the winner.
13. Liability
A Contest involves physical activity. Participants take part at their own risk and confirm that they are physically fit to do so. The health warning in the Terms of Service applies in full.
The Organiser cannot be held liable for network or device failures, or for any external event preventing entry, nor for damage arising from use of the prize after delivery. This limitation does not exclude liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury.
14. Amendment, suspension and cancellation
The Organiser may amend, shorten, extend, suspend or cancel a Contest where circumstances require, in particular in cases of proven fraud or technical impossibility. Any change is published in the app. No compensation may be claimed on this basis.
These rules may be updated. The version applicable to a Contest is the one in force on its opening date.
15. Complaints and governing law
Any complaint relating to a Contest must be sent to legal@orusta.com within 60 days of its close.
These rules are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the participant's country of habitual residence continue to apply, and the participant retains the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts of that country.
