Orusta 2.0: the new Ranked mode, the Hall of Fame and a new 3D engine
Ranked is now played in matches with an instant result, every leaderboard comes together in the Hall of Fame, your coach moves to a new 3D engine and swimming lands on Android. Here is everything new in 2.0.

2.0 is Orusta's biggest update since launch. We rebuilt Ranked from scratch, switched 3D engines and reworked a big part of the app to make it clearer and smoother.
The new Ranked mode
Ranked is now played in matches. Pick Squats or Push-ups, meet your 6 opponents, film yourself, and your position comes in as soon as your video is sent. No more waiting until 9 a.m. the next day to see your result.

- You play up to 5 matches per exercise per day, and each one earns you LP and coins.
- Before each match, your opponents appear one by one, with their coach, username and rank.
- After the match, a race replays everyone's reps before revealing the standings.
- Lost? Your next match is a rematch, with XP x2.
- Bronze and Silver are protected: you earn LP there even off the podium.
- Platinum turns jade and Diamond turns blue.
LP, streaks, placement, leaving a match: we explain it all in our article on the new Ranked mode.
The Hall of Fame
Every leaderboard now sits on a single screen. Pick your exercise, then one of three views:
- Ranked: ranks and LP, updated after every match.
- Week: the players with the most reps since Monday.
- Records: the best performances, format by format.
The top three step up onto the podium, and your rank always stays visible. Tap your rank card on the home screen to jump straight there.

A new 3D engine
Your coach, scenes and podiums move to a brand new 3D engine. You'll see it right away:
- Hair, skin and fabrics look better.
- Your coach blinks and looks at you now and then.
- Your coach's animations are smoother.
- When you switch outfit or scene, nothing reloads anymore.
- On a player's profile, their coach poses in their real scene.

Swimming on Android
Swimming challenges land on Android. Connect Health Connect, and the swims recorded by your watch or sports app count automatically.
The swimming challenge page is also fully redesigned:
- The top 3 step up onto the starting blocks of an Olympic pool.
- The leaderboard reads in lanes, one per swimmer.
- Each session gets its own card, with its duration, your pace per 100 m and its share of your total.
- Share your result in one tap.

Filming yourself
Before you start recording, your challenge shows up big on the camera, for example "30 PUSH-UPS, as fast as you can", with a coach showing you the move.

After your attempt, it's replay time: your video plays back with the counter ticking up, your score shows up huge and a timeline marks each of your reps. Tap it to rewatch a specific moment.

And push-ups are counted better everywhere in the app: fewer missed push-ups when you go all the way down, and rocking back and forth with straight arms no longer counts.
Social and clubs
- A magnifying glass in Social filters your friends, requests and clubs as you type. Nobody there? A button runs the search again across all players.
- Club Discover is redesigned: each club shows its category and member count, and you join it, or request to join, right from the list.
- To create your club, a "+" is waiting next to the categories.
- Inviting someone who's already in your club? Orusta tells you which one.
Home and your rewards
- The top of the home screen is redesigned: your Pass VIP and your rank are bigger, and the pass XP shows clearly with a real progress bar.
- Everything waiting to be claimed turns green, on the home screen, in quests and in the Pass VIP.
- On the Pass VIP track, coins and carats stack up: the higher the pile, the bigger the reward. And the track opens right on your tier.
- A notification warns you before the Pass VIP ends if you still have rewards to claim.
- The Orusta coin has a new look.
The Shop and the Locker Room
- In the daily shop, items sold on their own show up right away with their price. One tap is all it takes to try them on.
- A scene opens up big, with its rarity, name and prices.
- An outfit's name is no longer cut off.
- In the Locker Room, 3 new haircuts (Middle part, Slick fade and Locs) and a reworked High ponytail.
- And we've prepared a new kind of shop for upcoming events. More on that very soon.
Smoother
- On Android, going back to a tab you already opened is instant.
- On iPhone, the bottom menus open and close without stuttering.
- Social and My challenges show their list the very first time you open them.
- Rank badges show up instantly, and your Profile opens without a hitch.
- Your coach stays smooth behind menus.
Also new
- The payment window of a challenge is redesigned: the ad as a big button, your ticket styled like a real ticket with how many you have left, and the day your tickets come back when you're out.
- In Duo, you can cancel the session while you wait for your partner to be ready.
Fixes
- In Duo, you no longer get stuck on "Waiting for partner".
- In Duo, the end recap stays on screen when your partner leaves, and the Quit button always responds.
- In Messages, the green double check only shows up once your message has actually been read.
- A reaction under a message no longer sticks to the next message.
- A routine's recap shows up as soon as the session ends.
- Your coach's new photo shows up right away, without restarting the app.
- A challenge's duration shows to the second.
- On a swimming session, the react button works.
- Locker Room item names are now translated.
Good to know
- On iPhone, 2.0 requires iOS 16.4 or later.
- On Android, swimming challenges go through Health Connect. It's built into Android 14 and later; on Android 9 to 13, install it from the Play Store.
