Leg Pull
A plank where one leg lifts: the abs hold the line while the balance keeps shifting.

How to do it
- Front plank on your hands, body in one straight line.
- Lift one leg without letting the hips rotate.
- Put it back down and swap, keeping the line the whole time.
The two mistakes that cost you reps
- Hips opening as the leg lifts, which is what the exercise is meant to prevent.
- Holding your breath, which shortens the set more than the abs do.
How Orusta counts it
A rep counts on each leg lift returning to the plank position.
Easier, harder
Easier
On the forearms, or with a smaller lift.
Harder
Pause three seconds with the leg raised.
What a good set looks like
10 to 16 reps in total, alternating legs.
