Legs alternate above the floor while the torso stays lifted. Quiet on the outside, hard on the inside.

How to do it
- On your back, head and shoulders lifted, legs straight up.
- Lower one leg towards the floor while the other comes to you.
- Swap in a controlled way, without stopping between reps.
The two mistakes that cost you reps
- Pulling on the raised leg with the hands rather than working the abs.
- Lower back lifting off the floor when the low leg goes too far.
How Orusta counts it
A rep counts on each leg swap.
Easier, harder
Easier
Knees slightly bent, and a smaller range on the low leg.
Harder
Bring the low leg closer to the floor and slow the tempo down.
What a good set looks like
20 to 30 swaps with the back flat.
